I am Md. Mahadi Hassan, a public health researcher driven by a central question: How can evidence be transformed into meaningful change in people's lives? I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health at the Department of Public Health & Informatics, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
My work sits at the intersection of public health, data science, and environmental change, with research interests spanning women's and reproductive health, menstrual health, climate-related health risks, tobacco control, and health inequalities. I bring together epidemiological research, machine learning, geospatial analysis, and qualitative inquiry to explore complex health challenges and generate actionable insights.
Beyond research, I am committed to developing the next generation of public health leadership through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and youth advocacy. My engagements with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's ASCEND program, ICCCAD, and OMLAS reflect my commitment to evidence-based tobacco control, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
My vision is to connect rigorous science with real-world impact, advancing health equity, informing policy, and contributing to healthier and more resilient communities in Bangladesh and beyond.
